Our Story

We at Lee’s Funeral Directors appreciate the individual, and we celebrate the value that each person brings to the lives of others.

Lee’s Funeral Directors was birthed out of the foresight of the late Mr. Kendrick Lee. He always believed that a funeral agency was the ideal business to have. Mr. Ronald Lee, founder of Lee’s Funeral Directors, bought into this idea from his father, and so, left the banking world to pursue his studies in Funeral Directing at the British Institute of Funeral Directors, England.

In the beginning, business was few and far in between. Mr. Lee was his lone employee, but later on he developed it into a family business.

As the years progressed, Mr. Lee’s son became avidly interested in the embalming aspect of the business. After school he would work alongside his father in the mortuary. After completing his Secondary education, Jean- Pierre Lee, applied to and was accepted at the Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed the Associate of Science Degree in Funeral Services, where he majored in Embalming. He joined the family business upon his return to Trinidad & Tobago. Jean- Pierre Lee currently holds the position of Senior Embalmer.

Over the years, we have built a wide client base, from almost every corner of the island, including Tobago and internationally. While we advertise on a small scale, we believe that the quality and standard of our work and service to our clients speak for itself.
